It’s one of those skills that very few know how to use or just be. In the post-pandemic business world, it’s welcomed more than ever. The reason has been that people are more empathic to each other. Most of us have seen and its surface that food, clothing, roof, family are the most important things in the world. I know it sounds cliche but we are more grateful to be alive after what happened to the world.
Vulnerability helps to increase trust, integrity and honesty. In the business world if you are more collaborative with the client the best way to find that is how comfortable are you to share your weakness.
In one of our client call yesterday. I spoke my truth about how we are not the expert in the field however we want to build our community. So that the clients and others in the space can collaborate with each other. To which our client suggested to get few members to speak for 10 minutes and create a show around it. The recording can be used by others and we only play the role of facilitator.
It made my task easy to find only 1 person because I already know 1 team who would be interested in this discussion. It gives us advantage to do less and create more value for the community.
Quick Wins
The longer something takes, The less likely it is that you’re going to finish it. So ask yourself “What can we do in two weeks?” And then do it. Get it out there and let people use it, taste it, play it, or whatever. The quicker it’s in the hands of customers, the better off you’ll be.
